The AWC-330 is a very nice wine refrigerator, I went from a thermoelectric to this compressor unit and the difference is noticeable, I can now keep my wine at my preferred temperature, the old one could barely reach 60 F and I prefer 53 F. The noise is not bad, like a regular refrigerator, and it is very attractive.A couple of "would be nice" features are the ability to move the handle to the opposite side, and to adjust the shelves since "Pinot Noir" bottles do not fit and have to be stored in the bottom compartment. You can remove a shelf, but that would limit your quantity to 5 less bottles... I'm thinking about it.Customer service after the sell is stellar, my first unit had a bad control panel, and made gurgling noises when the compressor kicked in. I used their "30-Day Hassle-Free Guarantee", and they promptly sent a replacement with return shipping included, so I was able to use the packing material from my replacement unit to mail the defective one. I've had no problems with my new unit so far.

We have purchased 3 NewAir products. The first two just stopped working and left us scrambling to find a place to store our (expensive) wine collection. Each of these units were within a few months of being out of warranty. Now the fan motors are starting to go out on our third cooler. I can't find anywhere on the website where I can purchase replacement parts, or if they even provide them. They have each been attractive, quiet, precise temperature controlled coolers, but having to replace them every year and a half has become both a nuisance and expensive.

About Me Casual Taster
I replaced our current thermo-electric cooler with this compressor cooler. I was concerned about noise but it is silent with only a slight hum when the compressor is running. The racks could have used a quarter inch more space between them as some "fat" bottles don't fit well but otherwise a great cooler at a great price. I would recommend to anyone.
Excellently priced wine storage...

This is the second wine cooler I've purchased from Air n Water. The first was thermoelectric and this one is a compressor unit. I wanted to wait at least a month before writing a review, to make sure I gave it adequate time to notice the pros and cons.Well, both units work fantastic. This one gets cooler than the other, as to be expected for a compressor unit. I got this unit this time around since I wanted one with more capacity (my other holds 28 bottles, this one currently holds up to 33). I must note, though that the shelves have a hard time fitting bigger bottles or Rhone type bottles. So for these I use the bottom bin, which says holds 3, but I've found can hold 5. Yes, this one makes a tad more noise, but still relatively low noise. It is a sturdy, well made, and good looking unit that comes superbly packaged. This was true of the other unit as well, A-n-W does an awesome job in packaging the units, and this one came from accross the country, as I am on the east coast. So, for the price and features, this one's hard to beat. Definitely recommended.
That was a great choice....

I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I was looking for a wine fridge for about 30 bottles, and i made a research with about 5 different brands and models. I have already a smaller New Air wine fridge which doesn't make noise, maintain my bottles in the temperature i want, and its being with me for more than two years, excellent products. I highly recommend this products for people that really care about their wine, and appreciate a beautiful piece at their home. I am really happy!!!!
Excellent wine cooler for the money
I purchased our first wine refrigerator for my husband and this one was the perfect choice. It came double packed, the design with the digital readout is very attractive and accurate temp. Also we went with a compressor instead of the thermoelectric which runs all the time. Once our unit reached the desired temp it rarely comes on and when it does, I can barely hear it. We are so pleased with this unit.
Delighted with this and the service from Air N Wat

Great service, very helpful telephone order support.Wine Cooler is quite and seems to work well although the temp is consistently a few degrees below the set point but this is easily managed by setting the temperature a few degrees below the desired target. Can't tell yet the overall product performance as I have not had this long enough to know.
Please with the purchase

I received this wine cooler only a few weeks ago. So far I am very pleased with it. I have done a lot of research before buying it. I am glad I elected to purchase a compressor one. I thought it would have been noisier. I certainly would recommend this unit.
Nice design, good capacity, perfect price

This is exactly what I was looking for, 34 bottles, good looking for a very good price. It took me a long time to find it, compare the different models and the good reviews for this one convinced me. I'm not disapointed.
Well made, reasonably priced, excellent service
from San Jose, CA, USA
After researching and looking at many units I decided to give this one a try. I had never done any business with this company but both price and free shipping was a major incentive. Unit arrived in excellent condition and very quickly. Delivery guy actually asked us where we wanted it placed... In any case, after a month, unit is running great, holds temperature very well, is quiet, convenient and I've found a company I can do business with.
I returned the thermoelectric unit because it would not stay cool for this one. This one spends its time around 55-56 deg F (set on 55) but I have not measured it for accuracy. It rarely runs and seems to be working just fine, when it does run, it is pretty quiet, but I keep it in the laundry room. I feel like it is still quieter than the thermoelectric. The very bottom section is about 1/2 the depth to fit the compressor behind it. Good enough capacity and size to serve my needs.
Unit arrived as scheduled, instructions as skimpy, there was a loose shroud that I hope goes over the compressor in the back since it fit there so well. Handle was easy to attach. I am using default temp settings, 54-56f. The compressor kicks in when it gets to 56, does make some noise, but that's to be expected. I set it up in the dining room. The shelves are good for normal bottles, apparently I have quite a few fat ones, but am happy with this purchase.
This wine fridge is a good value.
from Allen, TX, USA
I haven't had the fridge for very long, but it has been keeping the wine at a consistant 45 degree temp. It isn't too loud compared to some other brands. The only negative at this point is the racks are not spaced quite far enough apart to fit dfferent size wine bottles.
Very happy with my purchase
from Sacramento, CA, USA
I was easily able to put 33 bottles in the cooler. Even though some bottles are too wide for the racks they easily fit in the compartment at the bottom. The reason I did not give the 'product construction' all 5 stars is because once the racks are full they do not glide very smoothly. But some wine refrigerators do not have gliding shelves at all, so I'm not complaining too much. As my girlfriend and I were admiring my new purchase and the compressor kicked on she noted that it was much quieter that hers. I hear it but it's not obtrusive and never stays on for very long. The temperature stays very consistent fluctuating only 1 degree. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
Excellent temperature control.
from Murrieta, CA, USA
Having had a thermoelectric wine cooler in the past that did not keep the temperature correctly, I am so glad to have this compressor-based wine cooler. It keeps my wine at exactly the temperature I want. It is slightly noisy, but no worse than your refrigerator. I'd gladly take the noise to get an accurate and consistent temperature.
Looks Great, Runs Great!

This product has been fantastic and exceeded my expectations! It's exceptionally quiet (this was really important to me) and holds to my temperature setting exactly. The buttons push easily and don't get stuck like so many products do. And they advertise a lot that the slide-out shelves making the wine accessible (which they do), but I love them because it makes cleaning the shelves and wiping down the inside a breeze. We love everything about it and will be keeping it well stocked! :)
2nd one I've bought. Go COMPRESSOR! It's worth it!

Disclaimer- I work in the wine retail industry, and have been in the business for 15 years. I do NOT work for A & W, but I have been so pleased with this product, I recommended it to clients, and purchased a second myself. This is the 2nd of this same model I have ordered from A & W. I'm glad I took the sales rep's advice on the first one last year and spent the extra $ on a compressor unit instead of thermo-electric, as the ambient temperature in my garage is well above the danger zone of 75 degrees, and TE units can't handle that as well.My ONLY complaint- you CAN NOT store 33 standard size 750ml bottles in this unit. The shelves/racks are too tight/small. You can fit 4 on each rack, and if you have a 375 to throw in, then you'll be able to store to max capacity.First one purchased in December 2011, so far, no problems at all, still running strong! Second one, noticed slight change in design, only cosmetic. Door seal did not seem as strong as first, but still, no leaks and working great.
Product is a good value

- Temperature setpoint is 55F and stays within temp +2 / -0- Interior bottle racks are designed for 5 narrow bottles, so large bottles (from PEJU winery) will only get 4 on a row (reason for 4 stars)- Controls are accessible above the glass door and easy to use- Glass door is attractive- Overall good value- Shipping was quick and the product was packaged appropriately
Excellent Wine Cooler - Highly Recommend
from Sterling Heights, MI
My husband makes his own wine and we have quite a bit on hand so we were looking for something to store our ready to drink supply at our home bar. This cooler is perfect...great looks, great temperature, and no noise...very important when your home bar is in the main area of your home. We did have to remove one shelf to accommodate larger bottles but still had plenty of room.
Great compressor cooler at a good price.
from Orlando, FL, USA
This unit replaces a 6-year-old Magic Chef cooler that stopped working. I live in Florida, so I thought a compressor cooler would hold a steadier temperature than a thermo-electric. NewAir was highly rated, and it seems to hold more bottles than my old cooler even though it has a smaller footprint. The only thing I was concerned about was what condition the compressor would be in after being bounced around in shipping across the country. However, the cooler was double-boxed with the outside package separated from the inside box with thick foam corners, and it works fine.

This wine refridgerator is just what we were looking for. It holds a nice amount of wine bottles. Any smaller and it wouldn't be able to handle the influx of wine that we get every once in a while. They say whatever the amount of bottles you think you will have, you should double it-and that is true.It has a nice design, and looks great. Great quality, it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. This one has a compressor, so it tends to be a little bit noisy when the compressor kicks on. It isn't very loud, but you will definitely notice it if you are nearby. But it only stays on a short time until it gets back to the right temperature. It is very easy to set the temperature and see what temp it is currently at. The blue light is a nice touch. I was going to get the wooden slats for it as I thought it would look nicer, but I don't think it needs it. I was also told that the wood slats were less forgiving when trying to put slightly larger bottles in.I was planning on getting a dual zone, but since we drink mostly reds anyway, this was fine for our needs ( and we aren't picky enough to chill our reds at different temps).Shipping was great. Free shipping, and it arrived the next day (I live in the Los Angeles area, so we are pretty close, but I was still impressed we did get it the next day).
Great looking and holds temp nicely.
from Davis, CA, USA
Fast, free delivery, so far cooler working great. It's a little noisy but that's a compressor. I only store reds and it seems that it would hold 33 bottles as advertised, unlike some other models. I would buy it again and recommend it to a friend. Thanks for a great product.
Attractive and efficient
from San Francisco, CA, USA
Heavy duty shipping package delivered wine cooler in perfect condition. Though advertised as a 33 bottle capacity, I have 34 bottles stored in it by stashing 5 bottles in lower drawer. Temperature control efficient, keeping within one degree of my selected value. That, in spite of room temps of 68-70 F. Compressor noise hardly noticeable and rarely on. With the attractiveness of unit, black body, brushed stainless trim on door, and UV glass, I opted to display in dining room, rather than storing out of sight. I'm thoroughly satisfied with this NewAir Wine Cooler and recommend it highly.
