Perfect for babywearing! I used this carrier with both of my babies! It's very easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Easy to adjust and putting the baby in is a piece of cake! I love the head guard, it keeps the infant head protected and baby can sleep soundly on your chest while you have your hands free!
Amazing Newborn Carrier! My sister gave me this carrier as a gift and I absolutely love it! It breathes and is easy to use. I also have another popular carrier, but I would need a newborn insert in order to use it with a newborn. I used it everyday when my baby was young and I highly recommend it. It can be used forward facing too, which is great!
Love Our Baby Bjorn! I had picked out the original carrier on my baby registry and received the active carrier as a baby shower gift. So happy to have this carrier. We love our baby bjorn! My daughter hates to be without me and out of my sight so I vacuum, wash floors, do dishes, all with my baby attached to me. She is snug and safe in it and has been using it since she was three weeks old. First use was at my husband's surprise birthday party to keep too many people from holding baby and the second use was at a hockey game. Now we use it everywhere.
Easy on and off. I actually purchased this carrier on consignment before baby was born just because I knew the brand was great. I also purchased a more "trendy" carrier because everyone just lllloved it, so I thought we would too. I was totally wrong. Being home with baby by myself the original Bjorn was perfect and at 4 months I'm still using it. I've tried the other carrier and it is just a mess trying to get it on and be comfortable. There is nothing more rewarding than baby wearing and I'm so glad I have the Bjorn Original to do so.
Baby loves it. We have been using this carrier for almost a year. My baby loves facing forward. We've used it for walking around the block, hiking through the Christmas tree farm and around the house. It's comfortable although I don't know how much longer we will use it since my daughter's head blocks my view - I'm only 5'1" so it was bound to happen sooner for me than others.
It worked well between three and seven months. Caveat: I bought this used. There were no instructions, and I assume there was originally an insert for newborns. It was sturdy and adjusted well. It was a bit big for my son as a newborn, and he outgrew it several months later, when it also began to hurt my back. It took me a bit to figure out how to adjust it. Good, sturdy, solid carrier.

When BabyBjörn was started in 1961, the founder, Björn Jakobson, had a clear business concept: “To make life easier for families with small children by developing safe and innovative products of the highest quality for children up to three years.” BabyBjörn remains a Swedish family company, but today their products can be found all over the world, and the original business concept has stood the test of time, just like the quality of their products. Trends have come and gone, but small children’s need for security and closeness has not changed. To date, more than 30 million children have been carried by their mothers and fathers in BABYBJÖRN baby carriers. They’ve put great faith in us, and they are incredibly proud that they have been able to contribute to bringing parents and children closer to one another – today, as much as when they first began.
