Lots of ways to use it! Love this little stool/table. I bought two to take the place of a table in front of a sofa. I put a thin piece of wood under the pillow so that now when we remove the pillow, it can be used as a small table that can be moved around as well as an ottoman. The storage feature is a bonus!
Great Value. The price for this set of two chairs is so low I really didn't expect much, but they are very sturdy. They fold up nicely, but you do have to remove the footrest to do so. You'll need two people to install the footrest because it is somewhat difficult to stretch the bamboo enough to get the screws in, but it isn't a big deal either. The chairs are very sturdy and the canvas fabric is good quality. I'd definitely buy these again. [...].
Beautiful chairs. Our kids are all in college so remodeled the basement as a Tiki room instead of a play room. The bar is wrapped in bamboo and is supported by a tiki statue on one end. The bar stools fit perfectly. I assembled the 4 in the evening while watching TV. My only suggestion would be to get a hex bit for your cordless drill that matches the screws (standard allen wrench is included) to save your wrist. It made the assembly go much quicker. I also added casters to make them easier to move on the carpeting.
Good buy - charming look! Very cute, island feel that goes perfectly with my bamboo table that I bought a few years ago. I varnished the bamboo with a marine laquer to withstand the weather. One thing is the canvas cover is not your standard director chair cover - it has cut outs that fit over a metal bar, rather than the sliding rod that goes into the groove. When it the time comes to replace them, I will probably have to have them custom made.
Adorable addition to my Costa Rican casa. These were an adorable addition to my Costa Rican terrace. They were lightweight enough to come in my suitcase but yet still amazingly comfortable. I am not sure how I will replace the white canvas (not your normal director chair seats and backs), but will figure it out when necessary, as I would like to change the seats to leather. In a perfect world, they would have had some type of weather-proof finish. But that can be added at a later date. Overall, for the price, I am thrilled with these cuties. [...]

There are some 1,500 species of bamboo grown throughout the world today, basically prevalent in every continent except Antarctica. Although categorized into the grass family, it can reach 150 feet in height and 1 foot in width.
