Good solid chair. We recently purchased 25 chairs. After WE put them together most of them had a problem with the way they sat, some leaning forward and some leaning sideways. After talking to the rep. I found the bases have a front stamped on the base labeled front, top. After taking them all off again I found only 2 were put on the right way. My suggestion was to paint or put a piece of paper in each box to indicate such. After making the switch we are all satisfied and everything is well. Thanks Tom
Happys Retro swivel counter/bar stool. The only two problems I see with these types of stools is that people with larger type rear ends do not fit well into the enclosed backs versus the partially enclosed backs. The other problem is for certain counter tops 26" is also a little high. Possibly a 24" might be better for adults at least.
Better than expected. The assembly of these stools was about 5 minutes each. The look is great. The quality is excellent and the fit for someone who is short and wide is wonderful. We use them at our kitchen bar and they tuck under very well with out the legs sticking out where someone can trip on them.
Love the stools. We purchased two of these stools for our kitchen. We don't have a lot of space and these fit the bill nicely... sturdy but not too big. They are a bit on the heavy side, but if they weren't they probably wouldn't feel as sturdy as they do. I feel like these will last a long time. We got them in pebblestone with a black vinyl top. They vinyl doesn't look cheap and wipes up nice for a kitchen setting. The pebblestone looks plain black from a distance, but has a little bit of a bronze/brown hue to it close up. I like the finish because it gives the black color a little bit of depth. (The fixtures in our kitchen are stainless steel...don't let my bronze/brown comment scare you away from the pebblestone!) Nice stools. Good company to work with.
attractive, comfortable stools. Very comfortable stools, with large seat, footrest and back panel at the right slant. Love the combination of wood and metal--the stool fits into my contemporary kitchen while the wood gives it some warmth. Also easy to clean. I like how the open frame visually lightens the stool so it doesn't overwhelm the space. I was concerned that the stool's plastic feet might scratch my hardwood floor, so I put rubber covers on them and they stay on just fine. I've had these for about a year and they've gotten very heavy use during that time. The only wear that shows are a few light scratches and indentions on the wood seat, but you would have to get close to the stool to notice.
