French for "new art", Art Nouveau was most popular during 1890-1910, inspired by natural forms and structures, not only in flowers and plants but also in curved lines. The approach to organic lines returns in contemporary design as modern lines seek to blend with nature. These beautiful reproductions can work with any decor, vintage or modern.
Art Nouveau might just be my favorite design style. There's something about the curve of the lettering and shapes that is so enticing. That's one of the reasons I appreciated living in Paris and being surrounded by artwork like this.
