Simple and Strong. I had been looking for a relatively inexpensive multi-function stick blender for quite some time. I had tried out several other models but ended up taking a shot with this Panasonic model, sight unseen. I purchased a kitchen aid blender before this, and while it seemed a tad more powerful, here's why I like the Panasonic blender a whole lot more: 1) Price -For about half the price you get just as many features with the exception of a frother attachment. I'd easily forgo that attachment to save a good chunk of money. 2) Speed Adjustment - The Panasonic features a seamless sliding power adjuster. This allows for quick and simple speed adjustment while using the product. Other models feature a similar power adjustment feature; however, they require you to stop operation and click to the next setting. I found this to be much more cumbersome and not nearly as intuitive as the Panasonic. 3) Simplicity - The attachments are extremely easy to switch out and clean up is a cinch! In most cases, I would assume the hassle of using then cleaning the product would not warrant pulling it out of the box. I can confidently tell you that this is not the case here. This thing is so simple to use, all you need to do is turn the attachment in place to connect/disconnect and get on your way. No fuss, no muss. This literally takes seconds! 4) .... It's a Panasonic! A very trusted brand! Give it a shot, you wont be disappointed.
Awesome!! Very good quality (or at least the one time I've used it so far). I was surprised it came with a whole kit. Pretty cool. I bought two as gifts for my daughters for Christmas also. I never bought one before due toto the fact that they were battery powered. This one plugs in and has plenty of power. Love it.
Quickly became my favorite kitchen gdget. It didn't take long for me to toss away my whisk and the keys to the blender and food processor as this Godsend allows me to pulverize tomatoes in the pot, whisk without breaking a sweat, and mix like I'm back in high school. My ONLY complaint is the location of the power switch which forces me to hold it in an uncomfortable position. An angled handle would be nice.
SS1 Hand Mixer. Purchased this to replace an aging (other brand) hand mixer. Had the other for so long, didn't know that the Panasonic would perform so well. We all love this thing and use it in the kitchen far more that we thought we would. Clean up is really easy and it's very versatile with all the attachments. It's very heavy duty feeling, powerful and very similar to the more expensive models. Panasonic has hit a home run with this.
No kitchen or bar area is complete without a blender. They don't take up much space and are workhorses for a variety of tasks. You can puree veggies for soups or create the perfect smoothie for a fruity treat. For fast prep and the easiest cleanup, immersion blenders let you work with small or large quantities and right in the bowl or container, too!
