These dazzling works of lighting art come from Kirch Studios under the name of one of the most famous American designers of distinctive furniture and home decor in the 60's, George Nelson. The iconic "PH Artichoke" we feature was designed by Poul Henningsen to give a glare free illumination from 360°, created by layers of overlapping leaves that shield the light source. Originally manufactured by Louis Poulsen the high quality reproduction PH Artichoke is based on Poul Henningsen's 1958 design.
When they're designed well, lights can be just as spectacular as the most amazing sculpture. And this collection shows off some of the best lighting designs I've ever seen. I want them all.
