THIS IS GREAT !!! I have a large CD collection. This unit was so easy to assemble, everything fits perfectly and (best of all) I was finished within an hour! It arrived in a timely manner. I was able to store most of my collection, I might get another one for the balance! What impressed me most, was how easy it was to assemble and EVERYTHING fit together with NO PROBLEMS! I am used to having trouble with pieces fitting together properly. I truly recommend this unit for large collections, easy storage in a condensed area.
Great Cabinet, I would buy this product. The two boxes came with two holes in them, but the excellent paskaging that this company does prevented any damage. Very easy to put together. The product's material and finish is above the normal level for items in this cost range. While very narrow in with, stands very stable without fixing to wall. A very good buy.
product designed to be hung on a wall. Didn't realize that this product was designed to be hung on a wall. Not sure that this was mentioned in it's description. We overcame this by applying lightweight cardboard to its back so it can be used in a space that has no backing and to ensure that the CDs won't slide out the back side. It would be helpful if ths was mentioned in the description. The product itself is sturdy and attractive. Not too difficult to put together even by my husband who is legally blind.
Very pleased with my purchase!!! After searching locally and the internet for several weeks, I found exactly what I was seeking in a DVD/CD storage cabinet at Storage&Cabinets Online. The assembly was easy enough--you just had to follow the directions. I'm very, very pleased with the cabinet and the price. [...]
Fits Inside a Door Frame. While assembly is pretty easy, I recommend having a watcher to compare what you are assembling to the the pictures in the instructions. Had I not peeked into the room and looked at the partial assembly, the sides would have been assembled back to front. At best an aggravation to correct. At worst a completely botched assembly. I intend to get at least one more and perhaps up to 3 more. Then I can join them back to back and add casters to make rotating DVD storage shelves. With upwards of 1100 DVDs to store, this extra space will really come in handy. I bought materials to make 2 similar items from plywood. Considering materials cost, these are cheaper, easier to assemble, and don't require special finishes. All of these are pluses in my book.
Sure, your music and game library is impressive. But where to put it all? Our media storage units are designed for optimum organization. CD and DVD storage is surprisingly versatile. Add an armoire with extra shelves, or tidy up a play area with a wall game storage unit. Stack vertically with a soaring tower media cabinet. Or, get your decor moving in the right direction with portable media shelves -- they're wherever you need them, at a moment's notice.
