Packaging nightmare. It took us three tries to get everything we needed to assemble product. The first time we were missing parts, parts list, and instructions. The screws, bolts, etc. were thrown in, not in a baggie, but loose inside box. The second time we called, the umbrella part that was missing was sent, but no parts list or directions for assembly. Finally, the instructions/parts list arrived and I was able to put it together. This was a Christmas present that took 4 weeks to finally get the pieces together. Luckily we started the process in November, and finally was able to complete the week of Christmas.
mostly good, some warnings. This product is build to be rigid and has good strength. The directions have a minor flaw, which is pretty easy to catch and correct. Regarding the arms that hold the coats: an end plug is placed into the arm, and held in place with a screw: it is very difficult to get the screw to go in straight. The company should drill a narrow hole to direct the screw. I will end up using plastic wood to get the plug in straight and securely.
Coat racks keep entries tidy, but they also add style. The hall tree has classic appeal, and many are crafted in wood, including the Twist design, while more contemporary standing coat rack models are metal. For inclement weather, add an umbrella stand or a hat rack that can be either freestanding or wall mounted with shelf space and coat hook attachments. We also feature commercial garment racks, clothes rack styles for kids, space-saving overdoor hooks and valet stands. Every home needs somewhere to store everyday or visitor coats and jackets and these stands provide a stylish solution to your outdoor clothing storage needs.
