I liked it so much I ordered another one. Like virtually all chairside tables, this table was 24" tall, which did not work well with our recliners. So, I cut 4.5 inches off the top of the legs. I'm sure others have had this problem. So, you might consider making a model that is only 19" or 19.5" inches tall.
Add the finishing touches to any seating arrangement with our many end tables, superb accompaniments for any furniture grouping. They are the final touches that will bring both large and small ensembles together and add excitement and appeal when paired with sofas, loungers, single chairs and loveseats. While they don't always command center stage, end tables can certainly stand out whether classic, eclectic, ultra-modern or traditional
Spice up futon seating with a roll-around, pair a mirrored pedestal with Queen Anne chairs or add bright splashes of color with lighted bases. You’ll find modern styles such as C Shape designs that add architectural elements while providing display space or acting as a sofa server, and include curved plastic and chromed bases and round glass tops that highlight bright colors and gleaming finishes, all about fun and simplicity for today's active lifestyles. Incorporate them into dorm decor, apartment living areas or family rooms. Other exciting contemporary pieces provide sculptural appeal with angles and curves, multi-level surfaces, nesting tables, whimsical barrel shapes, and glass tops. Lighted bases offer transitional flair, and for something out of the ordinary, browse our unique category of select woods with storage drawers or with lamp posts attached.
Chairside tables are perfect complements to single seating and can blend beautifully in sofa groupings, sometimes higher in profile than classic end tables and many feature storage bases, and a great decorative choice for reading corners. Look for traditionals in woods and veneers along with striking moderns in unique shapes.
Storage pieces offer new ways to reduce the clutter. Open shelving keeps displayed items in order while cabinet styles with doors and drawers hide everything away. Formal pieces with marble tops and iron bases are graceful additions while Mission styles offer classic slatting and magazine slots.
Create an added light source with cones and cubes. They feature easily accessible bases for changing bulbs and add a magical glow when other lights are turned off. Pane styles with rice paper shades are Asian influenced; ornamental patterns take a wilder approach. On/off switches are also simple to access.
Woods and blends including veneers range from classic to modern. Teak and bamboo are all available from sustainable resources in controlled environments. If you prefer a cool touch, look to stone or glass tops. These are paired with modern chromed bases and more ornamental metals. Leather offers its luxurious touches on featured pieces while the beauty of wicker is timeless.
Finally, we offer traditionals in wood, metal and wicker, casuals to formals, and relaxed country and rustic examples of fine craftsmanship to fit in lodges, cottages and even urban settings. Our Asian collection transitional designs start with ornate cabinetry that's rich in character and history-inspired scenery and move to simpler pieces in Shoji-inspired windowpane styles and with elegant shaping.
