Worth Every Penny! I don't have this particular model but I do have a large grill like it. I absolutely love it. I can cook a pound of bacon on it by folding each piece in half and so everyone can eat at the same time and no one has to wait and nothing is cold. If it's greasy I always cook it on my Foreman grill. I've used mine so much the coating is starting to wear off. It's been about 5 years so now I'm shopping for another large grill. When I see what's in the drip tray I'm so glad that's not in my stomach and my boyfriend and I don't feel guilty about eating a couple extra pieces of bacon. I highly recommend this product.
Great Grill, and cooks perfectly. I bought this GF Grill today, came home and cooked 2 1" thick Ribeye steaks, and they came out perfectly, and taste absolutely wonderful. Cleaned the grill right after I took the steaks off in a matter of minutes, and was so easy to clean. Wiped off with paper towels. Wish I would have taken a photo, but it was hard to leave the table.
Love the grill. As with anything like this, you have to get used to it! I use it all of the time. The upside to this grill outweigh the downsides. So I'll start with the downside first. The best way to clean this is as fast as you can after you use it. The longer you wait, the tougher it is to clean, and sometimes the fat grease gets trapped in hard to reach areas. I buy one about once a year because I use it that often. It does wear down. Cleaning is key. I use paper towels with water on them, or damp. The upside is awesome. Large cooking surface. Wouldn't even mind if it was bigger. Make sure you read the instructions carefully. Following the recommended food times is perfect. Add a little more time if you are cooking bone in foods and check it. It cooks them fine. Don't use cooking sprays. It is great for fish. If cooking items like bone in chicken thighs, remove the skin. Way less messy. Fish is great. Steak, hamburgers, chicken and pork all cook to perfection. And you can put quite a bit of food on there and no problem. The food really stays hot for a long time, so be careful. I like bone in chicken thighs, so this is how I cook them. Take off skin, put on some Weber roasted garlic and herb, cook for 8 minutes and flip and go nine. I turn the bone in foods over. The thighs cook perfectly. Just my opinion, this is a great grill. Hope they continue to try and upgrade some of the downsides, But it is awesome to have in the kitchen.
Grill. I would highly recommend this product for a college student or someone with not enough space for an actual grill. Though it doesn't give you the exact taste of a grill it gets the job done. I use it almost every week for grilling chicken and other kinds of meats. Very easy to clean up after and store away. I find it very versatile and easy to use. If you do not have one of these you're missing out.
super grill. I bought this grill hoping for a way to make quick meals. Once I got the grill it is my favorite way to make any meals. My favorite food to make is grilled cheese but iv made lots of other kinda of paninies. The surface of the grill is a non stick surface allowing an easy clean up when the cheese from sandwiches falls onto the surface.
Review of 8 Serving Classic Plate Grill. I love the large cooking surface that allows me to cook food for all my friends at once. Most of my friends try to eat healthy so they we all love not needing to use oil to prevent sticking on the nonstick plate. I would recommend this product to anybody who loves to cook healthy meals indoors without a huge clean up. I love mine.
Heavyweight Champion. I bought one of the first George Forman grills when they were introduced. The only reason I ever need a new one is because my kids keep talking me out of my current one, as they grow up and move out! My mom, myself, and my three children have and regularly use our George Forman grills. There just isn't anything that compares, it is easy and quick to use and clean, with quality results. I have literally cooked THOUSAND's of steaks on my George Forman and never had anything but compliments. Yes, in my book George Foreman is the Heavyweight Champion of indoor grilling!
