We are replacing our old (6 years) set of Panasonic land line phone sets. We had already replaced the re-chargeable batteries on most of those phones, but didn't want to invest any more $ in the old set of phones. We added another bedroom in the basement, so it was time for an upgrade up to 5 phones. Had considered scrapping our land line entirely, but it still made sense for us to continue on for now; it still has value for us & so we re-invested in the new set of phones (KX-TGD225N).

I purchased this phone a few weeks ago and so far so good!! I like all the features the phone has. It announces incoming calls and the call block feature helps with unwanted calls. Easy to read display screen, caller ID, and date and time lit in orange. How did I live without this phone? :)
So easy to use

I had at&t phones and the batteries keep going bad, was never pleased with the units. I am pleased with the Panasonic phones and the company in itself. Have used products in the past with good results. These phones were so easy to install and program. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a group of phones. BLM

Works well but disappointed that there is no ability to plug in a headset.

Good phone system but, not as good as the old one
I had a Panasonic cordless phone system for about four years. When it died I got this new system the differences are not major but I still like the old one better. 1. Sound quality on the old one was better. 2. I could plug in a headset into the old system. 3. I can "label" the hand sets on the new system more easily. 4. Every handset flashed on the old system when there was a message. 5. I can block twice as many "bad" numbers on the new system. By the way your staff was very helpful in dealing with the old system.

Bought this based on reviews. Worst portable phone we've ever had. Much less range than older models, half the time gives a "Busy" sign when trying to answer. We will never buy a Panasonic product again.
