Great Piece of Furniture. Assembly was easy (similar to[...]), but I had to stain/finish on the 4 that I bought taking more time than I wanted to spend (duhh, they're advertised as unfinished). Solid construction, they also tell you to sit on the chair to level it out before tightening it up. Nice tip. Great styling that works well at the new beach house. Looking forward to many years of heavy use, so time will tell.
I will buy this product again. This was bought for my last set of grandchildren. I have 12. These are 2 and 3. They are boys and rough and tumble. Now I need to buy 2 more chairs as their family is growing. But will do so happily as they are a great buy. I only wish I had seen a table before I bought the one that I did. Sorry I do not have any thing negative to say.
As a division of North Carolina-based Whitewood Industries, Inc., International Concepts distributes finished and ready-to-finish furniture throughout the eastern U.S. Along with other Whitewood Industry brands, this line represents more than 30 years’ experience in the retail furnishing business. They produce finished and unfinished wooden tables, chairs, and barstools in modern designs using classic wood materials. The company's unfinished furniture can be treated with Whitewood Products or paired with other paints and stains. The brand stands out for its resilience and durability, its U.S.-based manufacturing and its affordability.
Founded in 1982 as a distributor of ready-to-finish furniture to retail stores throughout the eastern United States, Whitewood added finished juvenile furniture to its product mix, and in 1987 began an import division, expanding as a complete offshore resource, and moved to High Point, NC, and expanding to more than 200,000 square feet in 1994. in 2000 they recruited a talented team and engaged well-known furniture designer Carol Wheeless to develop Whitewood's own, finished furniture brand called "John Thomas Furniture." The mid-priced, design-oriented line features full-sized dining groups that are casual enough for everyday meals but handsome enough for special occasions too.
In 2005 they launched Whitewood Masterfinish, a thirty-five color choice, paint/stain gel product that offers ready-to finish and specialty retailers the opportunity to marry ready-to-finish furniture with a "same brand" finishing product. Today, Whitewood divisions also include International Concepts employing 150 Thomasville, NC residents with manufacturing, warehousing, corporate offices, and showroom facilities reaching 350,000 square feet.
