Amazing! A sink for a lifetime of worry-free use. This sink is hands down the most superior in quality I have ever seen, installed or had the pleasure to use. I have been in the luxury and fine home-building industry for almost two decades and this sink is one of the best I have ever had the pleaseure to install. And, lucky me, I get to actually use this one on a daily basis in my own home! I have always been a stickler for a deep sink. But usually having a deep sink means that you get noise that could easily rival that of Niagara Falls when the faucet is running. Kraus knows that and solved that problem with their under-sink dampening system. THAT feature alone has me sold! The accessories Kraus included don't hurt either. But on to the most important "perk" that Kraus included..... The drain kit! Be still my beating heart... Why is this so important you ask? Keeping in mind that a large percentage of consumer end kitchen sinks do NOT come with a drain kit. This leaves the installer, contractor or even the occasional DIY'er with only a few options... Option 1: they call up the manufacturer of the sink they purchased, without a drain kit, and order one directly from them. Meanwhile, you wait for the manufactured to pack it up and ship it. Option 2: make a trip to a local home improvement store in the hopes you can find one that is going to match the specs of the sink you purchased, again without a drain kit. Option 3: in the case of replacing a preexisting sink with the new one you bought, without an included drain kit, the old drain kit is used. So, again, why is it an awesome and important feature for Kraus to include with their already amazing sink? Because 99% of the time a generic, 2nd party manufacturer or even an "authorized manufacturer" drain kit is not going to fit the drain opening exactly. "Who cares" You ask? You should care because the drain opening and the drain kit that go into should be, in my opinion, the "heart" of a sink. Especially for a one bowl/one-drain-opening sink. The quality, or lack thereof, of the seal can determine the longevity of
High Quality undermount deep stainless sink. I have had my beautiful sink installed for 3 years now and it is still wonderful. We installed granite counter-tops over existing cabinets. It was the largest, deepest stainless 16 gauge sink I could find that would fit into my existing small cabinet sink base. Still looks great in a very busy kitchen.
Great product - not disappointing. Love my Kraus 32-in undermount 50/50 double bowl sink! I am so pleased with the thoughtful features. Easy to spot quality construction - Not to mention the compliments/envy I get from other contractors on my selection! Thank you for living up to your name's reputation!
Gorgeous, THICK Stainless Steel. I love the heft of this thing. The deepness and its width means I can clean roasting pans and small humans with the greatest of ease. Hardware supplied with the unit made installation a breeze. Even the towel and grate were totally awesome bonuses. Too bad I only have one kitchen... I want more of these in the house!!
My Favorite. After researching several stainless steel sinks I purchased three and did a side by side comparison. I decided on the Kraus because of the sound proofing, weight, color, appearance and quality of the stainless steel. I installed a garbage disposal and I have had no problem with draining angle.
Excellent Buy. I couldn't be happier with this sink purchase, we've had it for over a month now and it is wonderful. It has large deep bowls, bottom grids and basket strainer, all of which are very nice and useful. The basket strainer is nice and deep and is easy to dump. Just wipe down the sink once or twice a day and watermarks disappear.
Kitchens with multiple task areas can utilize both single and double bowls, but for cooks who regularly wash larger pots, singles are more ideal. In stainless options, you'll find both bowl designs, and other choices include white, biscuit fireclay, black and sapphire finishes.
