Quality Product. Received this clock as a gift in December, 2004, and I am still using it. I use it in the bedroom primarily for the projection feature. However, this is the clock I use to set all of the others in my house due to the automatic time setting feature. The projected numbers can be read on my white ceiling at night but not during the day. The projection feature is hard to find on an electric clock. A couple of the LEDs that form the numbers stopped working a few years ago but restarted about the day I was going to throw the clock away. They have been working since. About 3 weeks ago the outdoor temperature sensor stopped working. The unit will work for a few days after cleaning the battery terminals but eventually stops again. Nine years hanging under the overhang of my house in eastern Pennsylvania with no maintenance and only one battery change is not bad. The clock displays the time, the outdoor temperature and the indoor temperature. It would be perfect if it projected the indoor temperature in addition to the time and outdoor temperature.
Great product! I loved how easy it was to set up and the manual was very clear when I needed instruction. This has everything I was looking for -- day, time, indoor & outdoor temp/humidity, moon phase, barometer & barometric trends. One thing I would change (but it's not a biggie): The third line down displays the indoor temperature & humidity; the outdoor temp & humidity are displayed at the very bottom of the screen. My preference would have been to have the outdoor temp & humidity on the third line since it's quicker to spot and that's the first thing I check in the morning. Even so, I would still buy this weather station.
accurate. I bought this thermometer 4 years ago and it is an accurate instrument worthy of my hard-earned $$. It would make a good gift for someone who doesn't have one. We have two. The gauges are large, easy to read. It comes with a built-in stand and a hole in the back if you want to place it on your wall.
Love this weather station! Bought this to replace a very old La Crosse weather station bcs the outside sensor failed but I had it for years. It has an alarm which gets rid of another little item on the table. It's pretty large but good for older folks to read the numbers. Very accurate. Enjoy having it!
