Extremely pleased hard to please person! I needed something to cover patio door, especially in late afternoon, protection from west sun. Didn't want curtain or blinds because access needed for 2 small dachshunds. This room divider screen is PERFECT, I simply partially fold for dogs to exit, and only fully expand it in late days with lots of sun. Love it!
More elegant than the photo portrays. My barrel fish pond needed protection from marauding raccoons. The one panel provides a permanent "tiki" ambiance backdrop, and at dusk the other panel, attached to the backdrop with bungee cords, affords a secure environment for the fish and plants. My only disappointment is that, with the first rain, the panels accumulated mold. Wipe-downs with diluted bleach help some, but I should have asked if there is a treatment to prevent mold for permanent outdoor use. The panels are very attractive and not flimsy. Bungee cords attached to the deck posts keep the panels upright as a protection against strong winds.
Just what I was looking for. I used the product as a barrier for privacy on one side of my hot tub out on my patio. They were perfect. We can stand them beside the tub if we are not in the tub and it still affords privacy on that side of the patio. My husband installed large hooks from the rafters on that side and we can easily lift and hang them high for added privacy when in the tub. They are just what I was looking for. Heavy enough to withstand the Tucson winds. Love them!
Privacy. I purchased same screens 6 years ago. Only problems I've had after a couple years the sun drys out the cloth ties. I used zip tips to keep them together. I also stained them to keep the luster. I've also had to renail the slates a couple times. But I've kept them outside in the elements for all those years. this is the best deal for the money and they are sturdy for Chicago weather.
Think addition by division. The trend to divide rooms without hard walls is evidenced with today’s stylishly selected screens and accessories. Available in innovative accordion styles with sturdy supports, as well as fixed multi panels lined with fabrics, stainless steel and stained glass, the divider breaks into the interior scene with a splash. Inspired with the elements of feng shui, these pieces provide the idea of division softly.
