Learning to use it. I bought my SPRI Xercuffs a month ago. I have had the long tubing with handles in red, so I chose the same intensity in the cuffs. I found them to have much greater tension than the long tubing, and therefore have a very limited range of movement. I am ok with that, since I very much feel the resistance in my lower body.
Professional grade bands and tubes great investment. I have had my resistance bands since 2005 so i have had them for 10 years and they are in the same condition as I bought them I keep them in ziplock bags when not in use and sprinkle with a little powder. I have the heavy duty purple ones because i am short and to build more resistance I double or triple them so I have 2-3 of each for that purpose. I am under doctors orders to do low impact exercises so this works for me. I used to take with me to work with a yoga brick and exercise half my lunch break in privacy rooms of my old job. I have used SPRI products to rehab and lose weight from medication that made me gain weight along with walking and drinking a lot of water. I have tried other tubes from a couple of well known brands from sports store and they were not great quality and broke and had to throw away.
Use these bands in our gym DAILY! We use these bands with our fitness classes daily at our gym and LOVE their longevity, portability, durability and usability! We use them in a variety of classes from spinning to step to toning and their uses are limitless. More importantly (and contrary to other reviews), these bands are ultra durable--they last forever--in our gym environment. We have tried other brands on occasion and we've ALWAYS come back to SPRI products. The quality is simply superior and the pricing is competitive. As a gym owner and a head volleyball coach, having to repair, replace and order equipment on a consistent basis, I appreciate the quality products and pricing SPRI offers that, in turn, make my business and my volleyball teams that much more successful.
