Whitey Ford Monument Park Brick Slice Framed Collage
- Includes Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity
A 10-time All-Star and 6-time World Series
Champion Whitey Ford is widely regarded as the greatest left-handed
pitcher in New York Yankees history. Over the course of his 16-year
career Ford compiled a 236-106 record with a stellar 2.75 ERA. The
1961 Cy Young Award Winner and World Series MVP Ford was nicknamed
the Chairman of the Board for his leadership and ability to pitch
under tremendous pressure. Ford was typically matched up against
the opponents ace and usually out-dueled them. In 1974 Ford was
inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. This is fantastic
opportunity to take home a piece of history with this collage which
features a graphical reproduction of the retired 16 number in
Monument Park a slice of game used brick from Monument Park and a
nameplate. This is a truly unique piece from the most historic
venue in all of sports. A Steiner Sports Certificate of
Authenticity and a MLB Hologram of Authenticity are included with
this piece.
