I bought this stove in September of 2014 about a month ago I noticed a sizable crack in the bottom left of the opening to the stove. I use a temperature gauge and have never exceeded the correct operation temperature of the stove, however I live in a cold climate so it is fired up almost every day during the winter. I don't believe this stove is made from quality steel (thus its price) and cannot handle being consistently operated. Of course they only offer a one year warranty ( on replaceable parts) for these stoves and now I see why. This is not a dishwasher or other complicated appliance. When people buy stoves they expect them to last for many years without problems. The one year warranty is a joke. Also, he blower is incredibly noisy. It can be adjusted to different speeds which will quite it down only until the stove expands or contracts causing loud noises to reappear. I have checked and all bolts are tight on all parts of the stove so it seams this noise issue is not solvable. Do yourself a favor and spend more money on a decent stove.

This Stove Does Its Job

By

from Virginia

Comments:

I purchased the Magnolia 2015 w/blower kit in 2010,6 yrs ago,and its worked great every time I need it.I placed my stove in the basement on a hearth with the back walls lined with stone to the ceiling.I have a window in the basement 12ft from the stove that I leave cracked about 1/4 inch for fresh air.My home is 2700 sg ft and the living area upstairs stays on average 75 degrees with outside temps averaging between 20 at night and 35 at day in Culpeper,va.I haven't had to change any gaskets and other than replacing a couple of broke firebricks, this stove does what I ask of it.If ever I need another stove i'll be sure to contact U.S. Stove Company.

Works perfect the first day

By

from San Antonio, NM

Comments:

Saturday was the first time we fired up this stove and it worked perfect. I was surprised that the automatic thermostat was able to control the speed of the pellet drop as well as the fan speed. I am impressed........

God Bless American Made

By

from Lehigh Valley, PA

Comments:

Installed the 2000 myself in my family room. I have a 2200 sq/ft bi-level and this baby heats the whole thing. Since this is my first time with a wood stove we have been cranking the fires and our electric heat pump has not turned on once all winter. The past two months have been brutally cold in Eastern Pennsylvania, and with this stove I have cut my electric bill by 3/4. The only thing about this stove that is a little off is the ash drain plug is too far to the left in the fire box. When I clean out the ashes some will miss the catch pan. I love this stove and would recommend it to anyone who will listen to me talk about it. God Bless American Made Products!!!

Great Product

By

from Williamsport PA

Comments:

I have had this stove for three years now and it heats my ranch home from its basement location. It has paid for it self three times over. I found a defect in the stove before the third year and they replaced it with no hassle. Great stove and great company

Efficient Stove

By

from Virginia

Comments:

I bought this stove three years ago and have been pretty satisfied with the stove once I learned how to use it. I recommend burning 15% moisture content wood or less in the stove as the efficiency depends on how quickly you can get the stove up to the combustion temperature. You can't burn a low smoldering fire in this stove or else you'll have huge creosote problems. It's designed to burn smoke and wood.

A great little heat maker.

By

from Terre Haute, IN, United States

Comments:

We installed this stove a month ago and have been using it in 45 down to 10 degree weather. Our home is 2700 sq. ft. with about 1400 of that as the main living area that gets direct heat fron the stove. With the main furnace blower set to "random circulate" this little stove is a power house. It keeps the main area an average of upper 70's while the far reaches of the house is in the mid 60's. We haven't had it opened up to full burn yet because it would run us out of the living room. It's amazing how little fuel this stove uses. This way more efficient than the old Fisher I grew up with in the 1970's.

New everything every year...

By

from New Hampshire

Comments:

I bought this stove 4 years ago and have replaced both blowers (one twice), doors (one day they will fit I suppose)and sundry accessories. It is loud but new blowers help for a season or so. It has clinker issues no matter what pellets I use. On the plus side it does generate heat as advertised and customer support are quite good. I'm looking for a replacement next season.

Buyer Beware

By

from Goshen, AR

Comments:

I bought this stove yesterday after reading the great reviews. This is not my impression. I struggle getting the flue up to burn temp. with magnetic temp. I was lucky to get the temp in my 1000 sq up from 50 to 60 degrees with air intake wide open within 10 ft of stove. Burning mostly dry oak. My house is not tightly sealed but have had better burns from other stoves.
